The first session of the Western Pacific Acoustics Conference was held in Singapore from September 1-3, 1982. A total of 48 papers were read and presented in the conference. There were 10 acoustical measurements including sound absorption, sound insulation, noise And sound quality testing methods.There are three papers focusing on sound intensity testing technology, the use of this method can be a number of noise sources in place, to determine the power of a noise source radiation, as well as in the laboratory or field for sound insulation measurements.
