柔刚先生出资设立的“柔刚诗歌奖”已历21届,2007年起交由“中国南京·现代汉诗研究计划”评选以来,已历6届。因逐年改进奖项设置、评选程序,其合理、透明、公正、多元的诗歌趣味,其纯民间立场评选的包容性、客观性和独树一帜的评奖模式,6年来产生了广泛的社会影响,使该奖逐渐成为国内外诗歌界、文化界、媒体及社会各界的关注热点,每年的评奖和颁奖成为文学式微年代举足轻重的诗坛盛事。
