Based on the analysis of the relationship between low-carbon cities and urban planning, the author summarizes the relationship and points out the importance of urban planning to the construction of low-carbon cities. Taking Guilin, a famous tourist city, as an example, this paper discusses land use, spatial distribution, industrial structure, traffic mode, ecological green space and puts forward suggestions and opinions on the future development of low-carbon cities.
