Liu Guosong’s changing times, people’s aesthetic needs also change, resulting in a revolution in human art history. Since the middle of the 20th century, ancient Chinese paintings have set off the culmination of academic controversy and creative exploration of modern ink painting on the vast land of China. Its leader is Liu Guosong, who is known as the “father of contemporary ink painting in Taiwan.” Liu Guosong, a native of Qingzhou, Shandong Province, was born in Anhui Province in 1932 and lived in Taiwan in 1949. He graduated from Taiwan Normal University in 1956 and was a visiting professor at Wisconsin State University and the University of Iowa in the United States.
