Last September was the 25th anniversary of the death of Nikita Khrushchov, a 10-year-old leader of the former Soviet Union. The Russians have not forgotten him, linking his name with Stalin’s personal superstition and the democratization of national life and the opening of foreign policy. His real background as the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU in October 1964 and his life experience after his retirement have been of concern to the world. Russia’s “Companion” magazine recently interviewed for this purpose a special editor of the “Science and Life” deputy editor, Khrushchev’s daughter Rad Iraq. In 1953, when Stalin died, she lived with her father and paid close attention to him. After Khrushchev retired, her daughter’s home was the most frequented. In his power, the son-in-law was chief editor of the newspaper Xinhua News. Later, working in the political magazine of the Soviet Union, the anonymity took as long as a quarter of a century. Authorities are not allowed to disclose anything about Khrushchov. For the first time, Rad Ahmadbey also disclosed the secret about her father.
