全国首届水问题研究学术研讨会于2003年11月21～22日在武汉大学工学部隆重召开。本届会议由武汉大学水问题研究中心和中国科学院水问题联合研究中心共同发起。会议由组委会主席、武汉大学水问题研究中心主任郭生练教授主持,来自中国科学院地理所、北京大学、清华大学,长江水利委员会、中国水利水电科学研究院、河海大学等高校和科研单位的160多人参加了会议。
The first National Symposium on Water Research was held on November 21-22, 2003 at the Faculty of Engineering, Wuhan University. This session was jointly sponsored by Wuhan University Water Research Center and Chinese Academy of Sciences Water Research Center. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Guo Shengli, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Director of the Water Problem Research Center of Wuhan University. The meeting was attended by experts from Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Yangtze River Water Conservancy Commission, China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, Hohai University and other research institutes More than 160 people attended the meeting.
