Did the feudal society exist in the process of English history? Ma Keyao’s Studies on English Feudal Society (3rd edition) has provided an answer:the feudal society not only did exist in England,but had experienced a very long process.To clarify the point that basically,England has been a feudal society until the eve of the Industrial Revolution,with techniques and modes of production being the continuation of the Middle Ages and aristocratic landowners goving the state (p.372),Ma adds two chapters to the end of the new edition of this book,naming them as The Tudor and Stuart Periods and From the English Revolution to the Mid-18th Century.
