Liu Shaoqi is an unfathomable person. First, he did not make a name for himself in the early years of the Chinese Communist Party, and he seldom mentioned him in such tendentious books as the “15 Years of the Communist Party’s Bravery Fight” by Bavel Miff. There is no record about him in the early history books of other parties. During the War of Resistance against Japan, some foreign authors went to Yan’an to interview. Liu Shaoqi was already famous at the time. Among these writers, Edgar Snow wrote Mao Tse-tung and Smedley wrote Zhu De, but Liu Shao-ch’i was still unknown. He did so even after the establishment of the Chinese communist regime, presumably because his professional habits avert him as public attention
