英语教学大纲明确提出要培养学生听、说、读、写的能力。英语阅读课教学的目的就是教给学生阅读方法,训练其阅读技巧,培养和提高学生的阅读理解能力。具体地说就是使学生在英语阅读过程中有目的地预测、思考和获取信息,并对获取的信息进行分析、推理和判断,从而准确地理解文章的内容和作者的写作意图。
English syllabus clearly put forward to develop students listening, speaking, reading and writing ability. The purpose of English reading teaching is to teach students how to read, train their reading skills, and develop and improve their reading comprehension. Specifically, it enables students to purposefully predict, think and acquire information in the course of English reading, and analyze, reason and judge the obtained information so as to accurately understand the content of the article and the writer’s intention of writing.
