3月19日,为了庆祝即将到来的新疆塔吉克族“春节”——肖贡巴哈尔节,一场骑牦牛的叼羊比赛在海拔3300多米的塔什库塔吉克自治县提孜拉普乡的天然草滩上举行。牦牛叼羊比赛对场地大小没有具体规定,但要求是一块平坦的草地。在草场东西方向相距100米的位置上,分别挖两个直径60多厘米、深50多厘米的坑,选手只要把所‘叼’的山羊扔进自己的坑里,就算获胜。比赛中双方各有15名选手参赛。比赛共计四轮,每场约耗时20分钟。
