1983年,王书铭同志出任四川江油水泥厂厂长。上任伊始,他就为自己确定了明确的奋斗目标:“强化企业管理,加快技术改造的步伐,扩大生产规模,增强企业的后劲,以适应改革开放和社会主义市场经济的要求”。十年来,王书铭为实现自己确定的这个目标,孜孜不倦的奋斗,一步一个脚印地推动企业前进,使江油水泥厂从产量到质量,从生产到经营,从改革到精神文明建设,每年都跃上一个新台阶,从名不见经传到打入市场站稳脚跟,一跃而成为省级先进企业和省级文明单位。
