遥感卫星地面站的建设标志着一个国家遥感技术的发展水平,因此历来受到各国政府的重视。亚太地区的遥感事业起步很快,遥感技术正在经济和社会发展中发挥着越来越重要的作用。截止1989年底,亚太地区共建成遥感卫星地面站9座,分别在澳大利亚、伊朗、中国、印度、印度尼西亚、日本、巴基斯坦和孟加拉国。了解它们的发展及其活动,对于掌握亚太地区遥感技术的发展将有一定的帮助。
The construction of the remote sensing satellite ground station marks the development level of a country’s remote sensing technology and therefore has always been valued by governments of all countries. The remote sensing industry in the Asia Pacific region has started very fast. Remote sensing technology is playing an increasingly important role in economic and social development. As of the end of 1989, a total of 9 remote sensing satellite ground stations were established in the Asia-Pacific region, namely Australia, Iran, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Understanding their developments and their activities will be of some help in mastering the development of remote sensing technologies in the Asia Pacific region.
