应有关方面的邀请,我有幸参加了1999年9月27日至29日在上海浦东国际会议中心举行的’99全球《财富》论坛。在此以前,这一论坛已举办过4届,此次在上海举办的《财富》论坛确定了一个特殊的主题——中国:未来50年。用举办者美国《时代》华纳公司下属《财富》杂志的负责人的话说就是:“以一个国家经济发展的未来走向为年会的中心议题,这还是第一次。”作为一名新闻工作者,我认真聆听了工商巨子们亲口讲述对世界、特别是对中国未来经济走势的感知和预测,用心体会了其创造商业奇迹的不传之秘。他们的激情与幽默、谦逊与狂
At the invitation of the parties concerned, I was fortunate to attend the ’99 Global Fortune ’Forum held at the Shanghai Pudong International Convention Center from September 27 to 29, 1999. Prior to this, this forum has been held for 4 sessions. The “Fortune” forum held in Shanghai has set a special theme - China: the next 50 years. For the first time, the director of Fortune, a subsidiary of Warner Bros., Inc. in the United States, said: “It is the first time that the future of a country’s economic development has become the centerpiece of the annual meeting.” As a journalist , I listened attentively to the giants of business and industry who personally talked about the perception and prediction of the world, especially the future economic trend in China, and carefully realized the unscrupulous secret of creating commercial miracles.
