2002年春节前不久,新华社国际部动员在国内的编辑去阿富汗采访,当时几名在阿富汗采访的外国记者刚刚被劫匪打死后弃尸疆野,阿富汗境内抢劫、绑架、杀人事件十分频繁,安全形势令人忧虑。我作为新华社记者已经去过20多个国家,但去的主要是发达国家,从没有做过战地记者,没有去过危险的地方,所以我特别想试试,就主动报了名。1月18日,我和同事文字记者袁莉、摄影记者李晓果踏上了飞往巴基斯坦首都伊斯兰堡的班机,将从那里前往战乱的阿富汗首都喀布尔。这些日记记述了我在阿富汗采访期间的故事、心情、感想和其它。
