应用消渴丸与优降糖对１５９例糖尿病患者进行疗效对比研究。结果显示：消渴丸治疗组对餐后２ｈ血糖（Ｐ＜０．０５）及２４ｈ尿糖（Ｐ＜０．０５）下降作用更持久、更显著；消渴丸对糖尿病次症症状的改善明显优于优降糖；还进一步发现了消渴丸有升高血钙、降低血清碱性磷酸酶及甘油三酯、胆固醇的作用，能更好地纠正糖尿病引起的脂质代谢和钙磷代谢异常。
A comparative study of the efficacy of Xiaoke Pills and glibenclamide in 159 diabetic patients was conducted. The results showed that the Xiaoke Pill treatment group had a longer lasting and more significant effect on postprandial blood glucose (P<0.05) and 24-hour urine glucose (P<0.05); Xiaoke Pills significantly improved symptoms of diabetes secondary symptoms. Better than glibenclamide; further found that Xiaoke Pill has elevated serum calcium, lower serum alkaline phosphatase and triglyceride, cholesterol, can better correct the lipid metabolism and calcium and phosphorus metabolism caused by diabetes .
