A new herpesvirus was cultured in peripheral blood of patients with lymphocytic diseases such as Salahuddin from the National Cancer Institute and named as human pro-lymphocyte virus (BHLV). There is no common antigen between this virus and human herpesvirus, so HBLV is a new herpes virus. Since then, a number of similar viruses have been isolated. The AIDS Research Center isolated the human herpes virus, HHV-6, from patients with idiopathic lymphoproliferative disorders. It is unclear which type of disease the virus is associated with. Serological tests found that antibody retention was low within 5 months of birth and increased after 6 months, with almost 100% of children 1 year old having antibodies. So that the age of HHV-6 infection is quite low.
