语言是文化的载体,文化对语言的影响极其深远。许多语言学习的困难实际上是由文化上和思维方式上的差异造成的。在大学英语教学中,东西方跨文化交际的差异常常会导致学生的英语学习停滞不前,甚至出现让人啼笑皆非的尴尬地步。本文将以语言与文化的差异为切入点,以点带面的来阐述东西方跨文化交际的差异,以期找到行之有效的文化意识教学方法,促进大学英语的教学。
Language is the carrier of culture, the influence of culture on language is extremely far-reaching. Many language learning difficulties are actually caused by differences in culture and thinking. In college English teaching, the differences between East and West cross-cultural communication often lead to the students’ English learning stagnation, even the most ridiculous embarrassment. This article will take the difference between language and culture as the breakthrough point, elaborates the differences between East and West cross-cultural communication with point and area, with a view to find effective teaching methods of cultural awareness and promote the teaching of college English.
