我国是一个多地震国家,也是世界上记载地震最早的国家。据统计,从公元前12世纪至今,历史上共记载大小地震8000多次,其中破坏性地震900多次。长期来,我国人民同地震进行了顽强的斗争,总结了许多实践经验。砖木结构是我国村镇建筑中采用最广泛的一种结构形式。在强烈地震中这类房屋常遭受严重的破坏。随着生产的发展,当前村镇房屋的建筑量很大,因此我们必须十分重视房屋抗震工作。
China is a multi-earthquake country and it is also the earliest country in the world to record earthquakes. According to statistics, from the 12th century BC to the present, a total of 8,000 large and small earthquakes have been recorded in history, including over 900 destructive earthquakes. In the long run, our people have waged a tenacious struggle with the earthquake and have summarized many practical experiences. Brick and wood structure is the most widely used form of structure in China’s villages and towns. In a strong earthquake, such houses are often severely damaged. With the development of production, the current construction of rural houses is very large. Therefore, we must attach great importance to the earthquake-resistant work of houses.
