I first met Aldo Rossi in 1980, when I was still studying at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning in New York City. Rossi wise, modest, simple personal style left a deep impression on me. Being an opportunity and a coincidence, I worked for Rossi’s firm from 1981 to 1983, when the firm had only three employees. In fact, Rossi’s firm has always been more like a laboratory or working group in nature, reflecting the architectural achievements of Rossi and reflecting his artistic achievements and personal style.
