英美文学课作为英语专业必修的一门专业课,在整个课程体系中占有十分重要的地位。要学好英美文学专业必须充分认识英美文学专业在英语专业教学中的地位,使专业教育与人文教育相结合,培养学生的思维能力、想象能力、鉴赏能力和创造能力,实现文献教育的价值。本文就作者在从事英美文学教学过程中的教学经验以及考察全国英语专业英美文学课程教育的现状,指出了现阶段文学教学过程中存在的一些问题,并提出了相应的解决措施。
Anglo-American literature course as a compulsory course of English major occupies a very important position in the whole course system. It is necessary to fully understand the professional position of Anglo-American literary major in teaching English major, combine professional education with humanistic education, and cultivate students’ thinking ability, imagination ability, appreciation ability and creative ability to realize the value of literature education. This article points out the problems existing in the process of literature teaching and puts forward corresponding solutions to the author’s teaching experience in English and American literature teaching as well as the status quo of English and American literature course education in the national English major.
