Clopidogrel and aspirin have different mechanisms of action, and aspirin combined with anti-platelet synergistic effect. Some previous clinical studies have found that aspirin plus clopidogrel can further improve the prognosis compared with aspirin alone. The CURE trial demonstrated the long-term benefit of adding clopidogrel in patients with non-ST elevation acute coronary syndromes. The CREDO trial demonstrated long-term benefit in patients undergoing coronary intervention
