1986年9月18日,中共杭州市委、市政府召开新闻发布会,宣告中国茶叶博物馆作为特种旅游项目,已获国家旅游局和浙江省有关部门批准在杭州建立。中国茶叶博物馆将是世界上第一个茶叶博物馆。目前,筹建工作已全面展开。该馆确定建立在杭州西湖龙井茶区的双峰村。初步规划将设立中国茶叶历史厅、茶与茶制品荟萃厅、饮茶与健康
On September 18, 1986, the CPC Hangzhou Committee and the Municipal Government held a press conference announcing that the China Tea Museum as a special tourism project has been approved by the National Tourism Administration and relevant departments of Zhejiang Province in Hangzhou. China Tea Museum will be the world’s first tea museum. At present, preparatory work has been launched in full swing.
