从明亮发光杆菌(A2)中分离得到一种自发暗变株(S1),其表型发光强度小于A2的1/10000。溴化乙锭(EB)(0.6μg/ml)在24h内能强烈地诱导S1回复发光,引起S1的回复发光突变,显著提高了S1的回复发光突变率。其发光突变株具有稳定的遗传学性质。研究表明这种突变是在DNA或DNA的转录水平上发生的。用S1可以简便、快速、灵敏地检测出EB的致突变作用。
A spontaneous dark strain (S1) was isolated from the bright photobacterium (A2) with a phenotypic luminescence intensity of less than 1/10000 of A2. Ethidium bromide (EB) (0.6μg / ml) could strongly induce S1 luminescence in 24h, which caused the luminescence mutation of S1 and significantly increased the rate of S1 luminescence mutation. Its light-emitting mutants have stable genetic properties. Research shows that this mutation occurs at the transcriptional level of DNA or DNA. With S1 can be easily, quickly and sensitively detect the mutagenic effect of EB.
