近几年,钢结构建筑相比于砖混结构建筑在环保、节能、高效、工厂化生产等方面具有明显优势。随着经济的发展,钢结构的发展必将促使建筑业、冶金工业、机械工业、汽车工业、农业、石油工业、商业、交通运输业得到迅速发展。当钢结构存在较多的缺陷、损伤或者使用环境发生改变,经验算刚结构的强度、刚度、稳定性等不满足设计要求的时候,应进行加固,此时钢结构的加固技术显得尤其重要。
