一简述有很多方法可以对气压进行测量。其中比较典型的是用水银气压表,它的测量精度比较高,一般优于±0.5mb。用传统的金属弹性膜盒(空盒)作为感压元件的气压计也得到广泛应用,其测量精度一般在±0.51mb上下。随着科学技术的发展不但要求提高气压计的测量精度,也希望气压计能应用于各种复杂环境中。测量气压一般都要求在一定的环境条件中进行。把气压计暴露在自然环境中测量气压会由于各种环境因素的影响使测量结果不准确,这就使现有气压计的使用受到限制。因此,人们在测量气压时力图创造相应的条件,希望得到尽可能准确的气压资料。但是,在某些特殊环境中要真正做到这一点往往是很困难的。

One of the more typical is the use of mercury barometer, its measurement accuracy is relatively high, generally better than ± 0.5mb.
