回音璧回音壁是皇穹宇的围墙,墙高3.72米,厚0.9米,直径61.5米,周长193.2米。墙壁是用磨砖对缝砌成的,墙头覆着蓝色琉璃瓦。围墙的弧度十分规则,墙面极其光滑平整。如果与你相距45米左右的人紧贴着围墙说话,你把耳朵贴近围墙,听起来觉得说话的人就在身边一样。这是什么道理呢?原来整个围墙砌得整齐光滑,适于反射声音。反射的声音沿着围墙连续反射前进,保持着跟原来差不多的能量,传到对方的耳朵里,所以听起来很清楚。
