中学数学教学的准备工作主要是备课。备课的重要性是人所共知,不言自明的。在一般情况下,教学效果的好坏主要取决于教师备课程度的深入与否。本文仅就中学数学教学的备课工作谈几点意见。一、备课的三个主要阶段: 1.通读教材:学年(或学期)开始前,应依照教学大纲的要求顺序,仔细地阅读全年的教材,如时间紧迫,至少也应通读一个学期的教材。其目的是要初步了解教材的内容,掌握教材的编排系统,了解各单元教材之间的相互联系;了解本册、本章以至本单元教材在整个中学数学教材中所占的地位。一句话,通过通读对所讲授的教材有一个清晰的轮廓,现以初中三年级所讲授的第五册的三章教材为例:
