Since 1993, the world’s first genetically modified foods tomato put on the US market, the development of various genetically modified foods have been rapid development. However, in the same vein, the debate over the safety of GM foods has not stopped anytime soon. To this end, the United Nations pointed out in the “Biosafety Protocol” that all the public in the world have the right to know the real situation of genetically modified foods. At present, all countries have different opinions on GM foods. For public health and safety reasons, relevant international organizations, major developed countries in the world, and some developing countries have formulated their respective regulations on GMOs (including plants) and are responsible for their safety Sexual evaluation and monitoring, in order to implement strict management of genetically modified products.
