当前是信息时代,计算机的普及和网络技术的发展使编辑出版方式发生了巨大变革,科技期刊也进入新的编辑时代。目前,科技期刊数字化主要表现为将文字和图像转变为数字编码,以便复制、传输、共享和技术处理。科技期刊数字化、信息化、网络化为学术成果、科研技术的推广提供了强有力的保障。从相关部门的调查研究数据中不难发现,当前传统出版物的数量日渐减少,相反来说,新媒体的阅读量却大幅度增加,尤其是青少年群体,更偏爱新媒体。因此,信息化将成为出版行业未来发展势不可挡的趋势,这也是时代进步的象征。
