本基地主要是为园林、园艺系师生教学、实习所建的大型果树场圃。技术力量雄厚,科研手段先进。地处我国著名梨乡莱阳,交通便利,经济发达。现有繁育场地20 hm~2,结果品种园5.4hm~2,果树良种采穗圃2 hm~2。贮备国内外果树良种资源160多个。2002年向社会提供优良种苗30余种,总量200万株,种芽1200万个,近几年由本基地直接提供种苗,直接技术指导所建的高质量
