“素馨”原产西域,我国古籍中有“耶悉茗”“野悉蜜”等多种名称,究其原因,乃古人对外来语音译的不同所致。史料载,唐末五代以后,“素馨”托以“南汉美人”改名,其实“素馨”之名是因汉化需要,人们依据其自身性状而统一称呼的结果。素馨从西亚移植至中国,并非传统认为的由陆上丝绸之路输入,而是经海上丝绸之路越海而来,然海路传播又与佛教东传密切相关。清中期以来闽粤等地素馨花种植渐趋衰落,其原因主要是受到其他花种的冲击,供求关系失衡。
“Su Xin ” origin of the Western Regions, there are many ancient Chinese names such as “Yeah tea” “wild honey” and other names, the reason is that the ancients due to different foreign phonetic translation. According to historical data, in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, the name “Su Xin” was renamed “Nan Han Mei Ren”. In fact, the name “Su Xin” was the result of the unified designation of people based on their own traits due to the need of localization. Transplantation from Western Asia to China is not traditionally thought of as being transited by the Silk Road on land but by sea off the Silk Road, which is closely linked to Buddhism. Since the middle of the Qing dynasty, Fujian, Guangdong and other places of Fraxinus cultivation gradually declining, mainly due to the impact of other flowers, supply and demand imbalance.
