In 1981, at a major international conference in Japan, a new achievement in the field of welding - the new MIG welding arc control law caused a sensation. As a result of this new achievement, which solved one of the major challenges in the welding field today, its inventor, Pan Jiluan, a professor at Tsinghua University in China, won the First-Class Scientific Invention Award from China’s State Science and Technology Commission. Sweden first reached a patent agreement with Professor Pan. However, the invention is not the purpose of Professor Pan. He is more concerned with how to turn this research into real productivity. It took only two years to study the new MIG welding arc control method, but then he spent more time working on a new type of welding machine
