鸡西市钢铁公司选煤厂二车间1990年建成投产，采用跳汰浮选工艺，主洗原矿液经捞坑溢流后进人浮选机回收精泥。为提高精煤产率，1994年初又配套建成再洗车间。二车间投产以来，发现捞坑使用效率不高，即捞坑的有效煤泥沉淀面积只有以斗提机尾部为中心，半径1．sin以内的范围。
