Currently, due to the introduction of monoclonal antibody technology, the need to re-evaluate the status of immunological diagnosis of infectious diseases. Since Kohler and Milstein initiated the study of this technique, it is now possible to chemically fuse lymphocytes from immunized mice with mouse myeloma cells to produce long-lived, clonal cell lines that can last, Monoclonal antibodies are produced. Its characteristics are: highly specific; affinity with the antigen reaction has not changed; easy to purify. The laboratory has produced diagnostic antibodies against a group of viruses, bacteria or parasites. The authors are routinely using monoclonal antibodies to diagnose sexually transmitted human diseases and are intended to apply them to a series of rapid, easy-to-diagnose methods.
