Chennai is a beautiful seaside city on the Coromandel Coast in the Bay of Bengal, India. Its blue skies meander golden, flat sand beaches for several kilometers, It is the capital of Tamil Nadu, India, formerly known as Madras, the fourth largest city in India and has evolved from a fishing village into a port city since the 17th century. It is an important administrative center in southern India Center, but also India’s arts and crafts center. From October 7 to October 10, 2012, the “World Crafts Council” (WCC) held its 17th Plenary Session here.
