Objective: To investigate the changes of blood pressure in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) patients with hypertension. Methods: The characteristics of hypertension in 35 patients with simple hypertension (group A) and 25 patients with hypertension complicated with sleep apnea (group B) were compared. Results: The index of respiratory disorder in group B was higher than that in group A, and the oxygen saturation was lower than that in group A. In ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, the mean systolic blood pressure at night, mean diastolic blood pressure at daytime, mean systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure at 24h Higher than that in group A, the difference was statistically significant. At the same time, the incidence of non-dipper blood pressure in group A was significantly lower than that in group B (16/25). Conclusion: OSAS is potentially dangerous and should be taken seriously. Hypoxemia in patients with OSAS may be the etiology of hypertension.
