传统水墨画文化的意义是体现在从文化的角度去思考和评判水墨画的文化价值,水墨画固有的绘画图式被放在第二位或者把它作为一种技术因素来传授讲解。而现代水墨画的文化含义在尊重传统的基础上更加延伸与拓展了水墨画的本身文化含义。现代水墨画和中国快速发展的经济的不同步有着深刻的内在原因,其中被人忽略掉的文化含义以及文化意义的衍生是重要的因素之一。
