For the first time, the CPC Central Committee’s “Decision on Strengthening the Building of the Party’s Ability to Govern” systematically expounds the importance and urgency of strengthening the building of the party’s ability to govern. It summarizes the major experiences 55 years since the party took power and clarifies that strengthening the party’s Scientific Connotation, Guiding Ideology, Overall Objectives and Major Tasks of Building Governing Competence. It is clear that the whole party should focus on improving its governance capability and push forward party building in an all-round way
