This article is a study of the design method of Hongwu style writing in ancient Chinese art. Hongwu style is a very special font, horizontal and vertical, flat and stout, spread and folk, at least in the late Northern Song Dynasty has been used. It is usually applied to written titles. Since the Han Dynasty, our country has stipulated that all posts should be written on official documents. As many as a few dozen characters in these title titles, they must be written in a single official document. Therefore, this problem is solved by reducing the height of the text. The more words, the more flat the glyphs. This article analyzes and summarizes the wisdom in the design of this special Chinese traditional art font.
