泰国经济从去年第二季度起就出现了一系列令人担忧的苗头.当时,一些房地产开发及经营者新建的房子卖不出去,使得资金周转不灵.紧接着,投资者信心不稳,抛售股票,撤出资金,在货币和股票交易市场上,泰铢的汇价不断下跌,股价也连连下挫.今年3月中旬,泰国股市和货币市场的情况进一步恶化,去年下跌了35%的股市又从831点跌到690点,只相当于1993年泰股市高峰时期的三分之一.至于泰币,一度跌破1美元兑26铢的关口.
