早期的澳门作为一个国际贸易交换中心,曾经有过她的繁荣和辉煌。然而作为一个国际性的经济城市在进入新的历史阶段时,她的经济发展趋向将会怎样,尤为引起人们的关注。在过去的40年内,澳门经济发生了巨大变化,特别是在中国改革开放的20年内,澳门由于实行自由港及自由市场的经济政策,实施简单及低税率制度,背靠经济发展迅速的华南腹地,加上与欧盟及葡语国家有传统的经济贸易关系,享有各种贸易优惠,又邻近香港,经济出现了举世瞩目的发展。
Early as an international trade exchange center, Macao had had her prosperity and glory. However, as an international economic city in the new historical stage, her economic development trend will be what, especially cause for concern. In the past 40 years, the economy of Macao has undergone tremendous changes. Especially in the 20 years since China’s reform and opening up, due to its implementation of a free port and free market economic policy, Macao has implemented a simple and low-tax system and backed by the rapidly developing hinterland of southern China. Coupled with the traditional economic and trade relations with the European Union and the Portuguese-speaking countries, enjoy various trade preferences, but also close to Hong Kong, the economy has been world-renowned development.
