After logging data collection is completed, various on-site results can be generated using the CSU computer. These results are useful to drillers, geologists and petroleum engineers, and to all branches of the oil company. They include playback logging and quick visualization (such as CYBERLOOK), and give quick on-site answers. It should be remembered that the computational power of the CSU can not be compared to that of the mainframe computer. The latter provides comprehensive computerized explanations of well-logging records such as CORIBAND and SARABAND. However, the quick and intuitive results of the CSU are particularly useful for borehole evaluation. All listed here
