今冬党提出了大搞水利运动的号召后,天汉秦剧团以实际行动积极地支援了这一运动.当剧团得知红寺坝水库工地上缺少发电机时,就将全套发电机设备及看机工人支援工地使用.在祝贺褒河水库工地盛大的发奖大会上,剧团全体演职人员按时赶到工地,演出了《烈火扬州》等节目,为了避免因住宿问题给工地增添麻烦,剧团全体同志在午夜十一点多钟戏完之后,背上服装道具连夜步行四个小时赶回剧团住宿,在回团途中人人都很愉快,没有一人叫苦.这些行动,大大地鼓舞了工地上的工人同志的生产热情.由于该团以实际行动支援了水利运动,所以光荣地被约请参加汉
