绩效技术指运用系统理论与方法解决企业绩效问题的研究。在美国、加拿大等发达国家,这方面研究方兴未艾,有关研究人员和学者正努力使它成为一门独立的应用学科。绩效技术研究的基本思想与作法可为深化我国企业管理改革借鉴。 (一) 绩效一词是英语performance的汉译,指有目的、有预定结果的行为,强调业绩。例如,对一个企业管理人员来说,工作忙未必是绩效好,只有他的管理行为对企业目标的实现作出贡献,他的工作结果才是绩效。绩效技术研究的先驱者之一吉尔伯特(T.F.Gilbert)1978年指出:在评价中要对行为和绩效加以区别。他认为,一个人可以
Performance technology refers to the use of system theory and methods to solve corporate performance issues. In the United States, Canada, and other developed countries, research in this area is just in the ascendant. Researchers and scholars are working hard to make it an independent application discipline. The basic idea and practice of performance technology research can be used as reference for deepening China’s enterprise management reform. (1) The term “performance” refers to the Chinese translation of English performance. It refers to behaviors with purpose and predetermined results and emphasizes performance. For example, for a business executive, busy work is not necessarily a good performance, only his management behavior contributes to the realization of the business goals, and his work result is performance. T.F. Gilbert, one of the pioneers of performance technology research, pointed out in 1978 that the distinction between behavior and performance should be made in the evaluation. He thinks that one can
