第11届国际农村医学会议: 欣悉第11届国际农村医学会议在我国首都北京召开,我代表中国政府向大会表示热烈的祝贺,向出席这次大会的各国朋友表示热烈的欢迎。早在14年前,世界卫生组织就将“2000年人人享有卫生保健”确定为全球的目标,并且指出实施初级卫生保健是实现这一目标的关键。10余年来,中国政府一直积极支持世界卫生组织为此所作的一切努力,积极促进这一目标在我国的实现。最近,我们已把“2000年人人享有卫生保健”纳入了我国国民经济和社会发展“八五”计划和10年规划,作为各级政府和全社会的共同目标,努力为之奋斗。
The 11th International Conference on Rural Medicine: We are pleased to learn that the 11th International Conference on Rural Medicine was held in Beijing, the capital of China. On behalf of the Chinese government, I would like to extend my warm congratulations to the General Assembly and extend my warm welcome to the friends from all countries attending the conference. As early as 14 years ago, the World Health Organization established the “Health for All in 2000” as a global goal, and pointed out that the implementation of primary health care is the key to achieving this goal. For more than 10 years, the Chinese government has actively supported all efforts made by the World Health Organization to actively promote this goal in our country. Recently, we have incorporated “everyone’s health care in 2000” into the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” and the “10-Year Plan” of China’s national economic and social development. As the common goal of governments at all levels and the whole society, we have worked hard to fight for it.
