套料鼻烟壶是融绘画、书法等艺术为一体的艺术品,始终受到大多数收藏家的尊崇和喜爱。笔者收藏的各种材质的鼻烟壶达数百枚,形成了一个系列,其中,套料鼻烟壶更是色彩绚丽。明清时期的料器,就是今日的玻璃器。套料鼻烟壶是指由两种以上料制成的器物。它的制作工艺有两种:一是在料胎上满套与胎色不同的另一色料,之后在外套的这层玻璃上雕琢花纹;一是用经加热半熔的色玻璃棒直接在胎上做花纹。套料有套一色与套多色之分,其中套五色、七色者最名贵,最多者有八色的。玻璃鼻烟壶,是清代数量最多的产品,出现于清康熙年间。玻璃鼻烟壶的种类很多,有单色玻璃仿白玉烟壶,称涅白玻璃、仿翡翠烟壶,有洒金星玻璃、
