The Gulf War that took place 10 years ago was a war over the victory of the multinational force led by the United States and the defeat of the Iraqi army. In that war, the multinational force suffered 697 deaths, 223 dead and 36 aircraft lost. The Iraqi military killed about 100,000 people, of whom at least 20,000 died.
