1981年8月下旬,澳大利亚 Gadsden 包装公司与上海包装进出口分公司就加强双方包装事务合作问题进行商谈。在讨论过程中,我们曾提到哈密瓜的包装问题,双方也作了初步探讨。澳方表示回澳大利亚作进一步研究,并向我提供研究的结果。该公司人员回澳后,公司技术总经理 R.S.Bell以及有关人员就甜瓜(类似哈密瓜)的栽培、生长、瓜果包装、贮存等问题作了研究并寄来有关材料。现根据该公司提供的研究材料,对其中的瓜果包装、贮存,病害及控制等方面作了摘译,供有关方面在包装和贮存瓜果时参考使用)。
In late August 1981, Gadsden Packaging Company of Australia and Shanghai Packaging Import and Export Branch Co., Ltd. held discussions on strengthening cooperation in packaging matters between the two sides. During the discussion, we mentioned the packing problem of cantaloupe and the two sides also made preliminary discussions. The Australian side said back to Australia for further study, and to provide me with the results of the study. After the company’s staff returned to Australia, R.S.Bell, the general manager of the company, and relevant personnel made a study and sent relevant materials on the cultivation, growth, packaging and storage of melons and other related materials. Based on the research materials provided by the company, the texts of the packaging, storage, disease and control of the fruits are extracted for reference by the relevant parties when packaging and storing fruits and vegetables.
