本文就如何开发高校图书馆特色馆藏建设这一议题,首先从必要性方面提出了有利于高校的学科建设和整体建设;有利于信息资源共享;又论述了特色馆藏建设所遵循的三个主要原则;最后论述了开发特色馆藏建设的方法,提出了开发学科特色馆藏、开发学校特色馆藏及开发地方特色馆藏的建议。
