壹 海峡两岸的现行汉字存在差异,这是客观事实。正因为存在差异,才需要比较讨论,从而谋求建立在科学基础上的文字统一方案。这是一。其二,不论就幾万汉字的总体讲,还是就现代使用的幾千到一万多字的平面讲,都只是大同小异,同大于异。这一点是本文议论,特别是希望成为同行就此论题展开讨论切磋的共识。 原则、理论当然重要。但原则、理论,或当从实际出发,或当归根于实际。我以为,要解决问题,或者至少使讨论推进一步,从实际而不是完全从原则出发会更好些。所以,我探取务实的办法,分类列举材料,以为大家讨论提供方便。分类是客观的。列举之前或后,顺便发表一点看法。
